1. Agreement to These Terms

These terms govern your use of blindsplanet.ca and the purchase of products and services from Blinds Planet Inc., operating as Blinds Planet Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

2. Products and Services

We supply and install custom-made window coverings, including blinds, shades and drapery, throughout our Ontario service area. Our service includes a free in-home consultation, professional measurement and installation.

3. Quotes and Pricing

• We do not publish prices online. All pricing is provided through a written quote after your free consultation.
• A quote is valid for the period stated on it and may change if the scope of the project changes.
• Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are added as required by law.
• Content on this website is for information only and does not constitute a binding offer.

4. Orders and Custom Products

Every order is made to measure for your windows. Production begins once your order is confirmed. Because the products are custom-made, they cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded once production has begun, except where covered by the warranty described below.

5. Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Changes and cancellations are accepted before production begins. Once production has started, the order stands.

6. Measurement and Installation

• We take the measurements and are responsible for the fit of products we measured.
• If you supply your own measurements, responsibility for the fit rests with you.
• Installation dates are scheduled together with you. Please provide reasonable access to the installation area on the agreed date.

7. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the installation. We do not offer financing. Accepted payment methods are communicated with your quote.

8. Warranty

Our products carry a 3-year limited warranty for the original purchaser, covering operating mechanisms and our workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, alterations, or normal wear such as gradual fabric fading. Full warranty details are provided with your order. 9. Website Content

We work to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors. Product colours may appear differently depending on your screen. The content, design and images on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the products or services concerned. This does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under Ontario or Canadian law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
