A bay takes three separate blinds, one per facet, mounted inside each opening. Running one wide blind across the front of a bay is possible but it wastes the shape and the ends never sit flush. The angled side panels are what needs care. We cut those to clear the mullion by a few millimetres so the fabric never rubs when it rolls.

The fabric is polyester, so it does not absorb much. Weekly dust with a vacuum brush and the bands stay clean. Marks from hands come off with a barely damp cloth and a light touch. Pet hair is the nuisance, since it clings to the sheer weave. A rubber glove drawn down the band pulls it off faster than any brush.
