Not if the track sits high and wide enough. Panels have to clear the handle, which means the track projects far enough off the wall that fabric never rubs the door. Where the panels land matters as much, since they need wall to sit against rather than glass. A wand on the lead panel keeps hands off the fabric, and hands are what wear a curtain out at a busy door.

Sheers to the glass, the heavier panel on the room side, both on a double track. That way the sheer stays as a daytime layer and the blackout closes over it at night without dragging across it. Reversing them looks wrong and puts the heavy fabric where it takes the sun. A double track costs more than a rod and is the only tidy way to run two layers.
