Yes. The remote talks to the motors over radio directly, so nothing between them depends on a network. What you lose without internet is remote access from your phone and voice control. Scheduled routines keep running if they are stored on the motor rather than in a cloud service, and we set them locally where the system allows it.

The blind motors themselves do not use Wi-Fi. They run on a low-frequency radio signal that carries through walls better than Wi-Fi does, and the hub only needs a network connection at its own location. In a long house we sometimes place a repeater in the middle so the far wing responds as fast as the near one. We check range at the measure.

A rechargeable battery tube is the usual answer, fitted with a charging port that can be reached from the floor or topped up once a year with a lift. A small solar strip mounted at the glass will hold the charge on a sunny exposure and take the recharging question off the table entirely. Wired power only makes sense while a ceiling is open.

That is one of the better uses for a schedule here. Closing the blinds at dusk puts a layer of fabric over the glass through the coldest hours, and in a large house the difference shows up first in the rooms furthest from the furnace. Choose a cellular shade rather than a screen fabric if winter is the reason you are motorizing.
