It holds, and if it does not, something is wrong that we can fix. The spring inside is wound for that shade's own weight, so one left at half height is still sitting there weeks later. Creeping usually means the shade was ordered long and later shortened without the spring being rebalanced, or a cell has taken on damp and gained weight. Both are workroom jobs. A shade that never held from the first day goes back to be rebalanced rather than lived with.

In a bathroom with a working fan, yes. The polyester fabric does not warp the way a wood or faux wood blind does, and the cells dry between showers. Where it goes wrong is a room where steam sits with nowhere to go: the fabric stays damp, and over a couple of years it can spot. Run the fan for twenty minutes after and leave the shade partway up.

In the same fabric and colour, yes, closely enough that nobody picks it out across a hallway. Honeycomb is woven in production runs and the whites do drift a shade between them, so two shades from different years hung on the same wall can read slightly apart in direct light. Rooms that never see each other are not a problem at all. Tell us which windows share a sightline and we order that group together whatever the schedule is.

There is a vertical version built for exactly that. Same honeycomb fabric, but the cells run up and down and the shade slides sideways on a track, so you get insulation on the biggest piece of glass in the house and a tighter stack than a vertical blind gives. It is a specialty order rather than something we keep on the shelf. On a door in constant use, a panel track is easier.
