The track arrives at your length with the carriers already counted and the vanes cut to the drop, so the day is bracket, level, hang and hand over. What adds time is a fabric vane in a range we do not stock, and we will tell you that when you pick it rather than after.

One vane at a time, with a damp cloth on PVC or a vacuum brush on fabric. Work top to bottom rather than across, since the carriers do not like sideways force. The bottom 30 cm is where the dirt collects, so most of the job is really the last third of each vane. Twice a year is enough in a normal house.
