Only with the room-darkening band. Standard zebra fabric filters early sun rather than stopping it, and a June sunrise here comes in low and strong. The darkening version with a tight inside mount gets most of the way there. If the room still needs to be properly dark, we add side channels, and we tell you at the measure whether your frame allows them.

Newer builds here often run a rear opening past that limit, so we split it into two blinds and put the seam on the mullion. Both halves then work independently, which is more useful than one wide blind anyway.

They do. The vinyl frames in these homes have enough depth for an inside mount, and the bracket screws hold in the frame's reinforcement rather than in the vinyl skin. We pre-drill so nothing cracks. Where a window has a very narrow flat surface at the head, the alternative is an outside mount on the drywall above, which we decide window by window.
